My parents had continental vans and I'm onto my third continental M/H and in 30 years have only had one minor issue, and that was a miserable woman who probably shouldn't leave her house, the warden effectively told her to either shut up or leave.
Conversely I do tend to use the passenger door if stopped in a lay-by, but that's rare.

No problems with pitching at club sites nose in or out. Just be aware if you intend attaching an awning on some pitches, it might be best to ask for advice from the wardens before you start and are asked to reposition! Some sites like you to pitch in a set manner e.g. Looking at the pitch towards the EHU bollard the order is car on the left, the van in the middle and awning on the gravel to the right. Some commercial sites have van on the left, awning in the middle on the gravel and car on the grass to the right between pitches. Have seen quite a few folk being asked to reposition, usually after the corner steadies are down as they try to enjoy a relaxing cuppa!
If you are nose in on a fully serviced pitch you may need extra long waste and water hoses as the drains and taps are usually near the bollards.
