Hi folks, i'm new to this site and would appreciate any help. i own a 1993 compass drifter, powered by a talbot express 1300d model with a non turbo 2.5 cc diesel engine. Whilst travelling in europe i had the misfortune to experience a break in one of the injector pipes. It was a very hot day and the engine had been running for a couple of hours. With a very fine mist of diesel now spraying over the engine i was very lucky not to have my van go up in flames. I'm now trying to locate a replacement secondhand set. Any ideas would be appreciated. Also i can't stress enough how important it is to check regularly, that the little plastic clips that hold the pipes together are intact. They reduce vibration.
