We are off to France and Spain in August and would welcome some recommendations on fans we can use in our motorhome, being optimistic and anticipating hot weather laughing.  Silent running and efficiency being key criteria as we might need to leave it running overnight.

Have a 'Google' look at 'cool my camper'. Not really a fan but portable air con. Not cheap at something like £400 new, but more effective than just moving air around.

I use a couple of Vornado ZIPPI fans from Amazon, while not silent they're the quietest fan I've found. Work very well too, obviously not AC standard but I'm happy with them.

Last year my OH came home with a 6" USB powered two speed fan which she saw whilst out shopping. Can't recall if it was Wilkinsons or Robert Dyas. Was only about a tenner. Might be worth having a browse round those out your local pound shop who may stock a similar item.
