Condensation in Autotrail sorted!

Completely agree I have been using one for years on our large A Class screens, not so bad with current van as it has heating between the shutter and windscreen but not always effective.

I purchased a cheaper similar item from Aldi as I was going to keep the Karcher at home. Unfortuntely, it is not a patch on the Karcher, the rubber seems harder and not as tolerant to tiliting at different angles. So the karcher is now in the motorhome.

Thanks it took a while to decide on getting one as I dont like the bulk of the silver screens.

Glad it works and does what you want - but external screens aren't just about preventing condensation on the windscreen.  They do keep the van significantly warmer in winter.

Its a fair point well made old chap however people i have spoken to have had indifferent views on the insulation values you alude to. On balance they take up far too much room are usually damp or wet when removed and stop far too much natural light getting in as well as restricting your view.each to there own. 

My  S S Covers  only  restrict  my  view  when  I'm  closed  down  for the  night,  and  the  latest  versions  have  a  secondary  "Mesh"  which  covers  the  screen  keeping  the  bright  summer  sun  out  whilst  allowing  two  way  visibility.  As  for  being  wet / bulky --  they  are  certainly  no  worse  than  awnings  and  are  quickly  wiped  off  with  a  piece  of  cloth  such  as  an  old  towel  or  similar.
