I was woken up this morning by the the water pump running. I know from time to time it activates to maintain pressure but this was full on as though someone was having a shower. Short of there being uninvited guests using our facilities there was obviously a problem somewhere. I manually turned the pump of and checked that no taps were on. It was then under the bed to check the water heater. The red hose had come of the heater with the jubilee clip half way down the hose with water spurting out. Not quite sure how a jubilee clip loosens sufficiently to allow the hose to come off unless it wasn't tightened correctly in the first place. It took at least an hour to mop everything up and we are still not confident that we have manged to get to everything. If this had happened when we were out it could have been a lot worse with more water and the possibility of a burnt out pump. Hey ho, its such fun!!
