We pitched up & couldn't get the calor gas to work. we did all things we've been doing for years. turned the canister on, pressed the two green buttons but it wouldn't come through to the cooker. we tried the spare canister but to no avail. Does anyone know what this could be?

Is your regulator a bulkhead fitted type ie truma as it is not unknown if it is below gas cylinders to have sticky residue from the LPG to block the regulator,,or flexible pipe when was van last serviced and was connecting pipe changed, they are dated these days and nomally seem to be orange with moulded connectors on each end

I know this sounds stupid and some will laugh at it but is your cooker lid pressed right back.We had a similar problem and the cut out safety switch at the back of the cooker by the raised lid was not working properly and was cutting off the gas supply if the lid was not as far back as possible, a minor adjustment was needed and all worked fine.If the lid was slightly forward the gas was cut off and it just needed pushing back a little bit further. I had the same problem earlier this year none of the gas appliances would work. I disconnected the pipe from the outgoing side of the regulator and no gas was coming through. I then disconnected the pipe from the supply side of the regulator gas supply was fine. Bought and fitted a new regulator everything working fine.
