  1. We are looking to change our  Moty this year and looking at an A Class....we like the look of the Bavaria’s, has anybody out there had any experience with them good, bad or otherwise.? We look forward to your views and also if anybody has had a couple of A classes with a view to what their experience has been....we have owned 2 motorhomes so far both low profile.

Bavarias are part of the Pilote group and are (pretty much) identical to the equivalente Pilote model....decals and model numbers will vary.

number of dealers will be smaller (in the uk) but probably serviced by Pilote dealers.

re A-classes....weve had two....a full width one of 7.5m and now a slimmer (2.12m) one of the same brand.

they take a bit of getting ised to when first sat there....all that space ahead of you can be a bit disconcerting but after a couple of miles you'll be fine.

great views when touring along or when sited, decent privacy blind is a nice touch....can be eased up to keep out prying eyes...

a bit odd not to have a door on both sides of the cab and, if RHD, it will be on the 'wrong' side, as will, the hab door....

drop down bed great for occasional guests or as the permanent bed in those layouts withput a fixed rear bed...most brands will also give the option to order without one giving an even more spacious cab/lounge.

need to try one...

Thanks BB, you touched on 2 of the things on our mind, the views with the large windows and also the space In front of the driver....we are warming to them and going to go and look at the Bavaria’s next week to see if the quality is as good as the photos suggest,....watch this space cool

as well as giving an open aspect (when driving or sited) the area ahead of the driver is where the drop down bed swings into....so when deployed it sits over the dash/cab seats and doesn't affect the rest of the lounge.
