has anyone come up with a sollution to allow the grey water to be syphoned into a waste master or similar on an autotrail tribute with the underlung grey water tank and a drain hole approx ø60, we are going to be on site for around 8 or 9 days with an awning attached so want to be able to drain off some of the grey water periodically without having to slide a plastic bowl underneath everytime, hoping someone may have come up with some form of hose or pipe connection

thanks,

you just need the appropriate sized pipe connector (or reducer/expander) with a jubilee clip on each side and connect an additional length of pipe to it and run it into the Wastemaster.

leave the drain tap open and you won't need to have a tap on the end as you can empty the WM when there's no one tipping water into the sink...

just get enough pipe to go around your awning...will also serve if you ever use a serviced pitch.

You should be able to buy the correct diameter hose and a connecting elbow joint in a cvan/MH accessory shop. You’re unlikely to find the right size in a domestic DIY outlet. Many of us carry such a set up for the odd occasion we can’t use a drive over drain.

Edit: we posted together, BB.

you don't say which Tribute model you have....

the van conversions have a smallish (68 ltr) waste tank and the coachbuilts 85 ltr.

probably not possible with the PVCs, but if you are using site facs to shower and wash dishes etc, you may not fill the waste tank at all in 8/9 days....

ours is 110ltr and 10 days plus on a site with facs won't see the 'tank full' sensor activated.

perhaps give it a go, only opening the tap to the pipe if you find you do need to....always useful to get an idea of your water usage to avoid deploying 'extra kit' unnecessarily.
