Just been reading the thread on the overseas trips section on the introduction of tolls to the A63 HERE.  It was the realisation that this toll will apply to 15000 km of National and Department roads for MH over 3.5t. which  hit me.  We will all need to fit a GPS  box to pay our tax.  The ECOMOUV websites says that this is an environmental initiative but given that the overriding factor is weight and not emissions as per the London LEZ (sic) tax this is plainly not the case.  If  they also use  our height of 3.04m we could be classed as a 42 tonne lorry as per the Millau Bridge.  Is this the end of our motor homing in France?  What a bombshell.  What are your thoughts?
