I know the argument for and against covers but I have decided to get one but can decide between Specialised or Pro-tec. Any views would be welcome.

I have had a Specialised cover for around 6 years. I am very pleased iwth it and it does not look as if I will need to replace it in the next few years at least.. The covered caravan is on the drive outside the house for around 7 months a year, in all sorts of weather, and the carvan emerges each year looking like new.

The cover came with a good length of cover material should I need to make any reparis (I have had only very minor abrasion at the corners of the caravan owing to my not protecting it properly). It has good quality strapping to go under the caravan and comes with plastic edging to protect caravan edges which might cause abrasion.

The fit to the caravan is very good. I have noticed that in some of their adverts the covers don't look as if they fit very well but that is not the case. Each cover is made for your specified caravan.

I use the supplied material to protect the windows and there has been no problem with the window abrasion which is sometimes mentioned in respect of caravan covers generally.
