Where to put your shoes

We have had several caravans now and always find the same problem, where do you put wet dirty shoes when you don't have a porch awning up, we always end up leaving them by the door and tripping over them when you come in and out. does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this or does anyone know of a caravan manufacturer who provides a cupboard by the door for this purpose?
