Bought the van almost 12months ago, see intro post

http://www.caravanclub.co.uk/community/discussions/general-discussions/introductions/Almost-a-year-since-we-joined--purchased-our-van/rt/224664/

Van is a 2004, Bailey Pageant Moselle - 2004 - L Shaped, Rear Bathroom, CRIS registered and crucially it has 14in Steel Wheels.

The Van is on our drive and is behind locked gates and usually has the hitch removed

Initially I bought what I thought was the right one for the van, I purchased a Titan Bulldog (red triangle one) and although it fits 14in rims/tyres it does not fit the 195;s that are on my van.

Although I could replace the Bulldog Titan clamp with another bulldog Titan but this time for the195's I'm not so sure I want to simply because the clamp is quite heavy and I found it quite cumbersome when fitting it (to my trailer which was the right size wheels)  and with weight a preimum when towing I am sort of thinking not to go down the Bulldog Titan route.

If anyone has any other clamps they can recommend?

I have looked at a Milenco and a 'Diamond' both of which are Sold Secure?  Is that what makes a difference when insuring as in Sold Secure ones?

I was going to purchase 2 Bailey Alloys and then go for the Alko clamp that goes throught the alloy to a 'receiver'  but when you total it up the price of the alloys from Bailey were silly (nearly £600) then there is the tyres and the matched receiver and the fitting of the receiver + the clamp itself...all in all this would have left me with a bill for a clamp of over £1100, not something I really want to think about.

So what clamp?  As we're new to caravanning we will for the forseeable future more than likely be using Club sites or CLS sites only.

Any clamp reccies or advice would be very much appreciated, thankyou!
