What is private?

First off apologies if this has been discussed before.

I was checking the warranty cover relating to my Bailey caravan when I came across condition 10 (b) which states "The Caravan shall only be towed by a private car or private 4x4 vehicle".

Now my husband is self employed and has a van registered in the business name.  Whilst we have never used it for towing, (it doesn't have a towbar anyway), we had discussed having one fitted so we have a backup tug.

So would using such a vehicle invalidate the warranty?, it being a van makes me think yes.  I would hazard a guess some people use "commercial vehicles"  to tow caravans and the said vehicle may not be registered in their name but that of their company.

Just wondered if anyone had asked Bailey, or any other manufacturer for clarity on this.
