Hi

I have a Venus 500/4. The Whale water heater is not working, the fault code is 3 flashing red lights.

The manual says with this fault there is a low/high supple voltage.

So I have turned all power off and on again

Then disconnected the battery and power cable, then reconnected. Still 3 flashing red lights and no hot water.

I don’t don’t know what else to try, any ideas please?

Thanks in advance.

1.  has the 12volt fuse blown?

2. have you got  12 volts at the heater?

3. Is you caravan battery faulty?

4. The Whale heater needs a 12 volt supply of between 10 volts and 15 volts.

Best of luck.  I have a faulty Whale heater and cannot find anyone who can repair or advise.

Whale just refer me to an authorised workshop who don't touch Whale gas heaters.
