Hi all, I am looking to use the caravan( baily unicorn vigo 2) semi permanently while we have some home alterations completed, currently using a 6kg calor gas bottle which is stored in the locker feeding a 30mb regulator fitted to the caravan, I am wanting to use 13kg bottles I have two full ones,  but they have the push/clip type fitting as opposed the screw/spanner type fitting on the 6kg, does any one have any advice/information on what I need to do to convert to using the 13kg bottles for the time being

You will need the tail and adaptor to fit what sounds like patio gas bottles (green with  red handle).I doubt that the bottle will fit in the dedicated locker so the tail will  need to be of sufficient length to reach it,s outside position.Any reputable caravan shop or your local calor depot should be able to help.

You can get even bigger ones. We use Flogas 19l kg propane cylinders to run our kitchen cooker here at home as no mains gas. If yours are butane wrap them up or they will freeze up on cold nights
