Urban Myths ?

Lately there have been a number of topics , mostly weight related etc Mtplm /Gvw/ and the like that to say some of the theory in support of them could confuse new members with advice  is an understatement.  There are many urban myths relating to caravans and what we should and shouldnt do. Do you have a favourite? Without resort to 'Rocket science' do you have one?.

I am sure someone will tell/explain why they are not myths but undisputable facts. Or are they. For myself I am guilty of being one of those who frequently has my jockey wheel up when pitched. Myth? I for one have never heard of a van collapsing because the Jw was up.

I look forward to some of the explanations for them.
