TV Ariel

I have one of these circular omnidirectional TV ariels which if i'm honest i found a bit lacking (maybe it was just the site) anyway this weekend we're visiting our first CC site (park Coppice) and i understand these have a repeater of sorts next to the EHU.....now call me thick....but how do i hook that to my TV??? just through an open window?? or is there some external port on the antenna??
