Tracker

My Bailey Pageant Brindisi has a  Tracker (not the alarm) fitted but I have never used or registered it with Tracker.

In the bumf it states that the Leisure battery should remain charged as the Tracker battery only stays charged for 3-6 months. but also needs changing every 3 - 5 years. Mine is almost 4 years old.

My questions are:

Even if it is not registered will the Tracker still draw from the Leisure battery if its own battery gets low or goes flat?

If not, is  it safe to have a Tracker fitted that has a battery that could go flat  and presumably deteriorate ?

My Leisure battery went flat whilst in storage last year (despite a solar panel) and I am now wondering if

the Tracker contributed to this.
