To cover up or not

 Whilst staying on the Bladon Chains site a few weeks ago in the pouring rain, I decided to take stroll around the site to take a look at the various rigs parked up . It was then that I noticed that I was the only one who had not put my hitch cover on . It has never been a priority to me when setting up for my stay, when on CC site and I was wondering if I am missing something by not doing this. Whats the benefits of doing this littlte job?
