Swapping from Bailey to Elddis

We recently purchased a 2015 Bailey Unicorn Valencia ( after missing out on a Vigo)but after 3 weeks and a few trips away already do not like the fixed bed. We thought it would be the right layout but have thought about changing. You could say we haven't given it time but... So we have seen a 2018 Elddis Affinity 554 which has the transverse bed which is , on the face of it,  in excellent condition. Without going on what views does anyone have on this swap. We are prepared to take the hit for our error. The Elddis doesn't come with a solar panel which can be added. BTW we are newbies to this so please go easy.
