It has been suggested by friends that we fix the Alko hitchlock while we're towing as it keeps the van secure when you stop. However, a caravan expert advised that this may invalidate the insurance for some reason. Can anyone give any more detailed advice on whether this is good practice or not? Is there an official answer?
