Servicing - what do you think?

When we bought our second hand caravan last May we took advice from our friends who told us to have the van serviced every year.  The 11 year old van had never been toured in so we thought it was essential and had it done (and had all the tyres replaced).

Since it was serviced we have toured short distances in it about half a dozen times and it has been on a seasonal pitch since February.  We will be taking it to France in the summer but don't expect to move it until then.

So, my question is bearing in mind that I have been quoted £210 plus VAT but excluding any parts for a mobile engineer to  service the van and that it has had hardly any wear and tear since its last service, would you bother?
