We've been away once in our van. Managed to pick up a scratch, probably from a protruding tree branch which has gone along the windows. And I'm pretty sure it was on a road we'll always have to take near where we live. So chances are it can happen again.
Are there any measures we can take to protect our easily scratchable plastic windows?

It's a sign of a caravan used for its intended purpose. We all have such scratches.
There are products on the market that are supposed to remove scratches but, as for preventing them, there's nothing you can do other than alter your road positioning where possible.
At one time people recommended covering windows with cling film but it transpired there was a reaction which damaged the acrylic windows so I'd not go for that.

There are scratch resistant coatings based on polysiloxane on the market, the same as those that one would find on specs, but they have to be applied professionally in the course of manufacture and they are not cheap - hardly worth the expense in the case of caravan windows.
