Safefill LPG bottles.

This question may have been asked before, is anyone using them?

Just thinking of changing over to the Safefill system. I do go on a lot of rallies, use 5 van sites without EHU and carry a 13kg propane, secured upright in the car boot (the clubs do not like these bottles stood outside the van anyway!). Also have a 6kg calor lite in the gas locker to act as a stand by when nearly empty, could do away with it or use for the Cadac BBQ.

In winter on extended rallies, I have used a full 13kg bottle in 4/5 days with heating, cooking and hot water, and LPG from a pump looks a lot cheaper per litre, I know there is the initial outlay for the bottle of £150.00.

I was thinking every time I go off; just fill the bottle up and then not having to worry if it does get cold and  running out. There is a local garage half a mile down the road from where I live, who fills them and is on the Safefill website.

Thanks.
