Roof repair

During the storms a few weeks ago a couple of tiles came off my neighbour's roof and landed on my caravan roof (1999 Europa 470).  An initial brief inspection at the time only showed a couple of dents which I wasn't too bothered about, but I have now discovered one of the dents has a cut through the aluminium roof, about quarter to half an inch long (sorry, I'm not a metric person!).  As it's probably now too late to make an insurance claim, has anyone any suggestions for a good filler/sealant/patch to make a permanent repair? (I've stuck a piece of duck tape over the hole meantime)
