New Caravan Excitement!

For the last 2 years we owned and towed an old (but perfectly functional and huge inside)  Abi Viceroy Jubilee.  I was a great van to learn all about caravanning in, and to make loads of newbie mistakes without wincing at every dunt, knock and repair!  We discovered that we had a "perfect" layout wish, found just the right way that we liked our awning set up, and more importantly, that we LOVED caravanning!  We sold this van last October with a wee bit of a heavy heart because of all the memories, but knew that it has outlived it's usefullness to us.  So ... 

We have bought today a brand new (well, the last of the dealer's 2012 stock ) Adria Altea 542 DK 6 berth caravan, and will pick it up  in a couple of weeks time once the wee extras we have asked for have been completed.  To say me, the hubby, and our 2 children are excited is a little bit of an understatement!  We are so glad we spent the time learning all about caravanning in our old, battered but much loved Abi before this major investment.
