Lunar Clubman SI Cupboard Upgrade.

When I purchased my SI, I noticed that the TI version of the same van had a nice slide out mesh metal tray unit between the table storage and the fridge. I confirmed with Lunar that it would fit my SI if I removed the shelf, and asked my dealer what the price would be. When they found out they asked me to sit down before they broke the news, over £150.00!

So much for that idea. I later found that B&Q sold two metal sliding storage baskets which, with the supplied spacers fitted the gap perfectly, not only that they only cost £26.

It was a bit fiddly to fit, due to the lack of access from anywhere but from the front but was well worth the effort. The only thing to be careful of was the length of the fixing screws, I obtained some shorter ones.

If anyone is interested, B&Qs Part No. is 0000003039533. There is a good illustration on their website.

This is from what I have seen it may be suitable for other Clubman models with a similar sized gap.
