Is there a caravan heaven?

What happens to a caravan once it has reached the end of its touring life? Do you take it to a local caravan breakers yard or let it sit in your garden for extra storage space?

The amount of caravans that are made each year does raise a curious question as to what happens to the golden oldies as the overall number of caravans in the country does not seem to be rising.

P.S we know a small amount to go to Top Gear !! :-)
