Insurance & Roadside recovery

Not sure who to use and what if any pitfalls?

Van =  Baiely Pageant Moselle - 2004 - 4 Berth, L Shaped, Rear Bathroom.  Approx value 6k

Towing it (for now) with a Vectra 1.9 Diesel Estate 2007.

4 in the family including 2 young children, so dont want to be stuck somewhere (not for too long anyway).

What insurance would I need?  What roughly should I expect to pay?  Who are good for roadside recovery?  Do any companies offer both as in insurance and recovery.

What factors affect the insurance?

Out van is housed on our drive at nights, if it's not in use I remove the hitch and it's behind locked gates etc. The van is CRIS registered if that is worth anything and I will have a wheel clamp on it when we make our maiden voyage (see my intro post -

See also my question on wheel clamps please.
