Inflating Caravan Tyres

Hi folks,

I'm thinking of buying a compressor to inflate my caravan tyres and I'd like to know if anyone has any particular advice or recommendations that might help me choose which model to buy.

For many years I've always carried a twin-barelled footpump and that's fine for car tyres at around 30 psi, but the recommended pressure for my caravan tyres is 58 psi. I've found that getting the last few pounds into the tyres is a real struggle for me and since forecourt air-lines always seem to be in the most awkward possible position for a caravan, the only other option is to take both wheels off the caravan then take them to the nearest garage, which is even more like hard work.

Any ideas?
