When I was dragooned into caravanning, OH and I went to Glossop Caravans and bought a nice Elddis Oddysey 482. I did notice the bed slats were a bit tight to extend and was assured it would be fixed. When I picked it up, it seemed OK. On first usage, it transpired that the slats were too short!!! This meant they fell through the gap when any weight was put on them. Took the 'van back, They measured up and said they'd order some more in. This was August and I'm still waiting.

Several 'phone calls brought the 'I'll chase it up' response. I'm still using the van with the single beds, but as I'm 6'2" they're a bit short. I wish I'd just parked it in front of their office and left it now!!!!

I did contact Elddis, who said they were still awaiting details of the required parts from Glossop!! Glossop deny this!!
