Hi all

We are looking at getting one of those front towing covers for the caravan but I don’t know a lot about them. Are they quite easy to put on? Also does anyone recommend what ones are best I see there are a few different makes on the market. Our Caravan is a Lunar Cosmos (Quasar)

Thanks

We have a Specialised Covers cover on our van. Extremely easy to fit - with a zip up one side and clips for the bottom edge. Perfect fit - especially for what is quite an unusual van. I wouldn’t consider towing without it in place. Just be careful about the van being clean before you put it on.

We have use a towing cover for 6/7 years now.  We use a bespoke Protec towing ‘jacket’ on our Lunar Delta - assume it’s called that as it has a zip front, we have used this type for over 2 years now.  We love the fact the caravan front and windows stay clean on a wet, mucky road.  We live in a area with a lots of farms and muddy tractors so it does a great job and we wouldn’t be without one now.  Must ensure the front is clean before use, doesn’t need to be dry.  It can be put on single handed, though easier to get the zip started with another pair of hands.

We have one from Specialised covers with has little clear windows for the two front lights on the caravan which of course must be visible when switched on, when we were looking for our cover we saw some cheaper ones which had two battery operated lights fixed to the cover and loads of fixing  straps so not very practical as pointed out the specialised ones are easy to fit
