Digital TV hook up on CC sites

I am new to caravanning in the UK (Previously caravanning in South Africa) and was wondering if anybody can advise what is needed to utilise the TV hook up on CC sites. For example how long should the cable be, what type of connector is required on the bollard side etc.

If not available what are the preferences for TV aerials and should I be carrying a mast of some type?
