Constant Heating

Hi

I have a Truma Ultraheat 3002 system in my Sterling Europa 390 caravan.

When set to either 500/1000/2000 Watts the settings on the dial make no difference, i.e the heat is on constant and turning it to say 1 results in heat even when the van is very warm.

Searching on google I have came across that it maybe the Temperature Limiter and Control Device Set (271750742821)

The blown air is working.

Has anyone had this problem before?

Cheers

Just a thought which might sound silly but I assume you you are setting the temp as well as selecting the heat level output? Perhaps there is a separate temp controller.

Yes there is on ours, one dial for the heat setting (and gas/electric combinations) and an inner dial for the thermostat.

No click on turndown confirms thermostat circuit not doing what it should.  Where is the sensor?  Are both wires firmly on the back of it? What happens when you disconnect sensor (or if it's wired the other way, short it out)?
