Hi

we are currently away and the microwave tonight decided to just stop without any warning. Almost like a fuse.
20 Minutes later it has decided to wake up but now the display is on and off like a bad connection. It’s hard wired in and I’ve no clue how to get to the microwave to check connections or just disconnect it because flashing electrics and dodgy connections I’m not a huge fan of.
Anyone come accross a similar issue and does anyone know how to get the microwave out. Only minimal tools with me.
It will start on the 30 sec quick start but none of the other buttons seem to work including stop.
thanks

paul

An interaction with the surrounding magnets, perhaps?

Or, it's had its day. I suggest managing without it until you get home and are able to extract it from its housing.

If you cannot do without it while away  measure it they tend to be 850watt or all the ones we have had were/are

See if there is an electrical store near where you are get one and change over when you get home

Ps it is not usual for them to be hardwired in an LV they are normally plugged into a socket near by
