Has anyone noticed the control panel on a VIP 2019 range with a Truma Solar panel indicating a high Battery charge level.
During a sunny day my 460 2019 indicates 15V which is very high? But when the fuse is removed from the regulator the battery voltage drops to 13.2v. measured at the battery? and replicated on the control panel.
What does your control panel show on a sunny day?

Not really, but I have changed the controller myself after contacting the unit manufacturer and also the control panel. Both Coachman and my dealer were stumped.
Then on my first service the battery failed, only 9 months old. The dealer refused to replace it? On pushing he gave me a as near new Banner better quality unit to that supplied. That seems to have reduced the problem but it is winter.
In the end I turned off the warnings.
Only in the caravan industry could one be treated like this and I am a 30 year+ caravan owner.
