We are thinking of changing our Coachman 2018 460 VIP for a 2020 Swift 480 Elegance as we have only had Coachman caravans in the past we would appreciate any advice or comments about this change.

Ere, Ere, we too have a VIP 460 2019. It's been back to the dealer more times than it's been on holiday. Water pouring (YES POURING) in the front l/h corner locker. (dealer said sealant missing??) It's in next week for a NEW dometic toilet as we've had numerous problems with ours. I notice they've gone back to thetford. Latest problem is the front l/h reading light has a warm glow on permanent, can't switch it on or off. (prob still got a leak?) We are also sick of it & are currently looking to change. Would NEVER buy another coachman. OR a caravan with Dometic appliances. Considering a Swift at mo, BUT we don't like the low worktop on the L/H cupboard. Back problems.

We bought our 2013 Coachman 620/4 when it was about 3 years old, after it'd had very little use. We still have it & have never had a problem with it.

I've owned Eriba since 2003, which are not perfect but very good compared to the norm. I'm thinking of a replacement at present and may end up in a "normal" van. Not once has it crossed my mind to buy a UK van due to the rails of build quality. Hymer, Knaus and Hobby would be my choice, or if pockets were deeper a Fendt.
