Caravan width

Hi all

I keep my caravan at home and it goes under a carport (caravanport?) beside the house. I always buy the top of the range regardless of make, but today they are all 7 ft 6 ins wide or more. The current 'van is getting old and needs replacing and it is only 7 ft 4 ins wide - the norm a few years ago.

Some years ago 'vans got taller and I had to raise the roof but increasing the available width is impossible..

Am I the only one that wants a narrow top of the range caravan?
