Caravan Shower Curtain failure

Hi all,

I would just like to point out to everyone who has the shower and toilet all in one in their caravans. I am talking about the bathroom with the folding concertina water shield between the toilet and shower cubicle.

When 'in-transit the shield is collapsed and held back against the shower wall by a catchment device.

The problem is the lower plastic hinge on the shower shield! All the weight of the shield and the bouncing motion whilst travelling puts a lot of strain on the lower plastic bracket/hinge, which can cause the  bracket snaps off!

Solution, I have put a rubber block under the shower shield to take the weight of the door rather than the fragile plastic door hinge.

I just thought i would share this bit of information and i hope it will stop what happened to me.

Cheers

KevinO

PS. I hope i made sence and you understand what the hell I'm talking about, lol
