Caravan Insurance

Warning to other caravaners about the need for 'New for Old' insurance.

Just had pride and joy wrote off by van driver, a complete write off. The point i want others to take note of is the fact if we hadn't taken out new for old we would have being upto £10k  short of replacing our van like for like, thank godness for my better half reading the small print and taking out this policy, Please take note and check your policy, check the cost of a replacement van and not the price you paid, you need to up date your policy if there has being a price increase on your replacement van, its the replacement cost thats important not the price you paid!, we were lucky both uninjured, both pets ok and just about covered for a replacement van
