hi everyone

I have an abbey gts 420 2008 model, when I plug into site mains do I need to turn on the red switch next to the mains socket on the van whilst running off mains and when I'm towing does any switches in the van need to be on to charge the leisure battery from the car?

         Thanks a learner!😊😊

Just seen this ... surprised you've not had any answers.

Not sure what the red switch is you're referring to, but the charger on my Lunar was via a red, illuminated switch, so if the same as yours, then .... yes, it does.

Assuming your car is wired correctly, your caravan's leisure battery will charge all by itself. the car/off/caravan switch (if you have one) is nothing to do with charging .... contrary to popular opinion.
