Can you transport a motorbike in a caravan?

Hi everyone,

My boyfriend and I have just bought our first caravan and I'm looking for a bit of advice. We go to classic car shows and my boyfriend has a restored but not running yamaha ty80 that we take as our entry into the shows. My boyfriend says he would like to transport it in the caravan but I'm not sure how this would work. He has a frame for it and ensures me that it will be secure and won't damage the caravan. But other than that I'm not sure how it goes about insuring the caravan as it will have another vehicle inside. I'm not sure if this would void the insurance if anything does happen to it. My parents take a tomahawk bicycle to the shows and it is just under the contents cover for the caravan but again I'm not sure if this would work for a motorbike. My parents have said to me that they don't think it is the best idea however my boyfriend's dad used to do motorbike racing and he towed his caravan with his motorbike inside. Not sure if any one else has had a similar problem or knows of caravan insurance that may deal with this?
