Bulldog Blade Stabiliser - Ease of Use

Can anyone tell me how easy it is to use these stabilisers. I ask because my health makes it difficult for me to put on the old type of blade stabiliser we have that needs the blade to be lifted onto the caravan bracket without being able to reduce the friction setting. The new units seem to have a handle that removes the friction and they look easier to use. Does anyine know. I am looking for a system that my wife could use when I am not able to do it myself.
