Broken gauge on my gas bottle.

Hi all,

I replaced my gas bottle recently and after connecting it up manouvring it into position I noticed that the gauge was broken and not working.  I should really have taken it back to the site office at Castleton but it was raining and I couldn't be bothered.  Sometime later I'm wondering if I will be penalised when I go to get the bottle replaced.  I guess it's a bit late in the day to worry about this but has anyone got any comments on this situation?
