Black out blind help needed

Hi, this may sound a weird question but we have a bailey pageant louire and when the black out blinds are down there is an annoying little gap at the bottom where the light comes through and my husband always wakes at dawn because of it. anyone have any ideas of how to stop the light getting through down the gap? we pull the curtains too!
