Posted on 19/08/2019 17:58 by PoshmanMy 2014 Lunar Clubman SB bathroom light has stopped working. Removed glass lamp cover and nothing appears loose. Assume I need a replacement light but where would I obtain one? And how easy is it to fit?

Only tried to switch it on when plugged into mains. Cannot test it otherwise as caravan is in compound 30 miles away.I have trawled through ever caravan accessory/spare outlet site on the internet and still cannot see a replacement light like this one. It is about 3 inches square and looks like a circuit board. Must admit I was surprised to see it when cover was removed. My best bet would be the call my dealer service department for advice.
Thanks everyone for your help.

Sounds like a LED light, search for 12 volt caravan shower light on that well know web site I saw one for £15, unscrew the light from the ceiling pull the wires through unplug the leads plug in the new light and re fit, remember to fit the wires the right way round as unlike a normal bulb electric only flows one way through a diode BUT I would test the circuit first, do you not have a leisure battery?

I purchased these for my Delta earlier this year. Are they the same as yours?

Simon,it could be like that from memory. I will go to caravan soon to check it out. I will also get a new pull switch because that packed up too at the same time the light did. Light has its own switch on cover but the pull switch and that could be related.

Not always the case now with some caravan LED's I have just replaced two amber LED side marker lights on my caravan and they are not polarity dependent. This surprised me ?I found this out when I tested them before fitting. They don't have colour coded wiring on them either, both tails being Orange.
I can only think that there is some sort of electronic component in the tiny circuit board that corrects it when energised.
