Awnings

Hello folks.

Firstly, apologies if this is in the wrong section. I’m thinking of getting an awning, not now, but at some time in the future. The plan is to be able to take the daughter and grandchildren along with us on our travels, and for that we’ll need one. Anyway, I know there’s quite a lot of choice, and various price points, but are the differences that great in practical terms? Is it worth paying the extra for an Isabella, for instance? Btw, I’m referring to the traditional ‘full’ awning.

Cheers...Freddy 👍

I’ve only ever had Isabella awnings, both full and porch, so cant comment on comparisons with other makes, but I can wholeheartedly recommended Isabela especially if you are not intending to change your van for a while so will get many years of service from it.

I will not comment on quality of awnings but I have found that granddaughter from aged about 8, till now mid teens, prefers to sleep in a pop up festival tent sited within the awning.
