The whip aerial fell off my 2014 Eldiss and it's proving impossible to get replacement as they are no longer made. I don't want to replace whole unit, just the screw in stick aerial. Any ideas please.

We lost ours and googled Avtex whip aerial and bought a replacement (which had to include the base) of the web.

Take a look and Im sure youll find a new one.

Them not long being made shows just how rubbish they really were despite the rubbish spouted by Avtex and Elddis and the others who used the cheaper option.

Thank you, have tried without luck. Avtex don't manufacture them now and have suggested having a new but different aerial fitted.

Our avtex stick works, but only after i fixed  the shoddy installation done by the chimps at elddis.

You need to search for a dual band full range  UHF/VHF female SMA whip aerial. I have been looking myself as i caught ours on one of our trees, it bent back but now looking for a spare.

It looks like a call to a amature radio specialist shop is needed when you see the choice on the tinternet.
