13 pin plug connections rotate

I have just read about this in the July magazine, and I had the same experience on my new Swift Challenger. The pins on the plug from the van can rotate within their housing. I was given one of the little green realignment tools by the dealer. However after a few occasions when this happened I got annoyed with them, and they have now stripped the cover off the plug and fixed the lugs holding the pins in place with a couple of dabs of super glue!!. Seems ok at the moment but why when paying so much for a new van do Swift fit such a poorly designed plug in the first place.
