Hi just wondered has anyone uploaded proof of their covid vaccinations on to the Eurotunnel website?  I have booked through the CC website and there doesn't appear to be any access to do this, it could be me but if a club member has been able to do this online perhaps you would be able to help smile  many thanks

If you have booked with this Club I think you may still have to phone the Club travel desk to give API details - unless things have been streamlined this year.

If you have booked direct with Eurotunnel you follow their on line instructions to input the information they require.

If you booked through the Caravan Club you get a copy of your booking by e mail which is your Booking Confirmation with Euro Tunnel. This gives you your booking reference and booking password . There is a link next to these which states ‘add API to your booking’. Go into the link and follow the instructions.

Re the downloading of your COVID documents it states you do this within 72 hours of your departure. I haven’t done this yet as I don’t go until June.

Hope this helps.

Hi, Glancing at this thread, partly due to the fact that almost constant"server error" requires a work around that means using the duiscussions list, I noticed the comment re API.

We are booked with BF out bound and Stena inbound, via the club. BF website sys to enter API, which we did, but no mention, other than for groups of 8 or more on Stena website.

As I need to aske the travel service a trip related question also asked about API and the, very helpful, lady said if its not mentioned dont worry! She said that things were more relaxed now and that was probably why it wasnt required but I thought it was a legal requirement??

Anyway, for whatever reason it seems to me that one could very easily get it wrong as its not explicit that API is required for all travel via a ferry.

I phoned the club and they sent me password and account details so I can get into the relevant section of the Eurotunnel website. Very efficient.

However, further question, whilst they ask for the Covid info, no ore than 72 hrs before travel, does that mean the Covid pass also needs to be downloaded from NHS at similar time, or, is  the one I downloaded recently still ok

I would say the NHS COVID Travel pass you download should be ok as the 3 COVID Jabs are shown with the dates of expiry.

Assuming you booked direct with eurotunnel you can add your covid status 3 days before your journey.  Just go to their site, log into your booking and you will see a link to add documents.  Click Health Declaration and it will allow you to take a pic of your QR code.  If I can do it anyone can!
